Next Wind Recovery
This outpatient facility delivers top-notch care through its partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), supportive housing, and aftercare services. Next Wind also offers outpatient detox services for clients at the onset of their recovery journey. If a client requires a higher level of care, Next Wind’s intake staff will facilitate referrals to reputable facilities. Within both PHP and IOP, clients receive tailored treatment, engaging in individual and group therapy, life skills, coping skills, educational workshops, medication management, anger management, holistic therapies, and either 12-Step or non-12-Step support groups. To customize treatment, Next Wind provides a schedule with 21 therapy groups for clients to select from.

They offer a plethora of activities including yoga, meditation, indoor go-karting, day trips to NYC, local recovery events, sports events, camping, hiking, fishing, beach outings, museum visits, movie excursions, and more.
Aftercare
Their distinctive aftercare initiative addresses clients’ health, home, purpose, and community. They ensure provision of medication for co-occurring disorders if necessary and ensure clients have a supportive living environment. Additionally, they coordinate support groups and peer support to instill a sense of purpose in clients’ new sober journey.

This place is a safe haven for me when I’m feeling down or having urges . I get to unwind and express my emotions in the PHP program, and am constantly surrounded by like minded people that are very understanding and genuinely caring towards me. I was always against doing the after care programs they recommend when leaving rehab but this time around with the help of next wind recovery I just celebrated 90 days!
At first I did not want to go to “Next Wind” but after being there for a few days, it was the best decision I made towards my recovery. The staff iswas unbelievable. They really care. I would recommend “Next Wind” to anyone seeking recovery.

After my experience here I would highly recommend this program to anyone willing to do the work required to significantly improve their life. The facility is beautiful. The housing staff and clinical are very helpful going far and beyond expectations I had before coming in. They make sure your needs are met on an individual basis and gladly go out of their way to ensure you have the best possible results. It’s a 👍 for me.
Next wind is by far the best option for you or a loved one in need of support and addiction services. They will meet and exceed all of your needs, and if for some reason they cannot accommodate they have plenty of resources in their network that will assist you. I highly recommend this program. Next wind recovery really cares about their clients and really helped my brother. He’s been to many programs but he said the experience at next wind and the attention he received was exactly what he needed. Clinicians are awesome and the staff that work there really put their all into helping in anyway they can. Whether you or a loved one I would definitely recommend this treatment center for addiction!
I have nothing but good things to say about Next Wind Recovery. I am not speaking from a patient stand point, but from the standpoint of a loved one whose girlfriend entered their program. I couldn’t be more pleased with the dedication and effort given to her. The groups, the clinical staff, the techs, and everyone else that is a part of Next Wind was beyond helpful. There is no doubt in my mind that my girlfriends success comes from her own willingness to live a healthy sober life, but next wind gave her the tools she needed to build this solid foundation in her recovery. I will 100% recommend this facility. The staff really do care about what they do and it was the perfect temporary living situation needed to create a safe space to build and grow her sober network!

Next Wind Recovery saved my life! I’ve gotten sober in the past but only on my own and it never lasted. Next Wind gives you the tools and support to make sobriety last. My clinician has helped me deal with past trauma and everything that comes up when getting sober, that is something you can’t deal with on your own. The best part of the program is the support you receive from other clients here. We share so much in group that we quickly become close and gain a support network. I am so grateful to have the support after years of isolation. We are also taken to AA/NA meetings daily which is another essential part of recovery. I can’t say enough about Next Wind, from the staff to the clients you are cared for and guided to living your best life yet!
