**Veterans run Warriors Heart, knowing well the struggles faced by those in the military, law enforcement, fire service, and medical first response. Their mission aims to help these heroes **recover from substance abuse** and other complex conditions. Specializing in both **PTSD and mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI)**, which are common in such high-stress roles, Warriors Heart offers a beacon of hope. The **Warriors Heart Foundation**, a separate but vital 501(c)3 entity, provides financial aid to warriors who can’t afford treatment. Warriors Heart offers many programs for warriors battling **addiction and PTSD**—from residential and **day treatment** to **outpatient services**, sober living, and **detoxification**.
Secluded Ranch Retreat
Warriors Heart is nestled on a sprawling ranch in the Texas Hill Country, a tranquil sanctuary just northwest of San Antonio. This idyllic setting offers serenity, space, and stillness within reach of urban amenities. Spanning 543 acres, the campus is meticulously designed to facilitate healing following the intense experiences endured by each warrior. The facility boasts comfortable suite-like accommodations, gourmet chefs, a recreational room, an on-site gym, fishing ponds, scenic running and walking trails, a fire pit, a wood and metal shop, a K-9 program, a world-class clinical team, and ample space for introspection. Their overarching objective is to provide care for those who selflessly serve our communities. Accredited by the Joint Commission and a proud member of the NAATP, Warriors Heart exemplifies excellence in addiction treatment and support.
