Turning Tides
Located on the Atlantic coast of northeastern Florida, Turning Tides offers partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) care for adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders.
Equine Therapy
Turning Tides has partnered with Round Pen Ranch to offer patients a unique therapeutic experience. Their miniature horses, bred down from standard horses, often face their own challenges with body dysmorphia, self-regulation, and food intake. Clients have a golden opportunity to work with these miniature horses, fostering compassion and care while developing tools to help themselves. Equine therapy sessions are available on a monthly basis.
Adolescent PHP
The adolescent PHP program runs Monday through Friday from 1pm to 7pm. The program includes individual, group, and family therapy, as well as weekly psychiatric visits, physical assessments, and lab draws. Clients receive personalized nutritional plans from a dietitian, with meal support and process groups as key components of therapy.
Adult PHP and IOP
The adult PHP program offers individual, group, and family therapy, alongside weekly psychiatric visits, physical assessments, and lab draws. Clients receive custom nutritional plans provided by a dietitian, with meal support and process groups as essential elements of therapy. The IOP includes bi-weekly individual therapy, dietary consultations, nursing visits with lab draws, and medical visits, with group therapy sessions held three days per week.

A place for men and women, recovering addicts, and people that have been homeless and other reasons to feel safe and secure in a well staffed and maintained area. A place of hope for those who feel despair, loneliness, abused. The staff here are wonderful and I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for the kindness and understanding of them.
