Greater Boston Addiction Centers (GBAC) offers a variety of addiction treatment programs. They provide intensive outpatient programs (day or evening), partial hospitalization, and medication-assisted treatment to help ease withdrawal symptoms. GBAC also addresses co-occurring mental health conditions for a well-rounded recovery. They focus on mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients reframe and reshape negative thinking patterns.

Flexible Treatment Options

GBAC offers day and evening IOP programs to accommodate busy schedules. Their partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides a more intensive, comprehensive approach with more time spent at the facility. As an inclusive treatment provider, GBAC offers specialized programs for women, men, and LGBTQ clients. Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing techniques.

Focus on Whole-Person Healing

GBAC provides psychoeducation for clients and their families, helping them learn more about addiction, triggers, and relapse prevention. They also offer an employee assistance program to help clients take time off work or integrate treatment into their schedules.

Recover and Heal in a Safe Space

Clients at GBAC can learn new life skills, build their sober network through group therapy, and reconnect with loved ones in family therapy. GBAC also uses a trauma-informed approach, helping clients process trauma in a safe environment. In addition to trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), GBAC can treat bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder (BPD), anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.
