From the therapist, the nurses, the care coordinators, and everyone else involved, they have wonderful and caring staff who work hard and take care of all of your needs. The food is great, you get your own room all to yourself, and the atmosphere is very comfortable! You will not go wrong with Fort Behaviorial!!!

Been to dozens of detox’s and this was the best staff by far. Kyle, Libby, Shonnee, chad and Jordan went above and beyond to help me. I’m very grateful for them and they helped motivate me to go to a 90 day program. I’d refer anyone who needs help to Fort Behavioral.

Fort Behavioral is amazing. The staff is very attentive and caring. They truly care about your rehabilitation. They use different techniques and therapy to help you overcome your addiction. I had a great experience here and would not have wanted to go anywhere else. If you have an addiction problem, then Fort Behavioral is the place you need to come to.

My son has been dealing with Schizophrenia for the past yr almost year & half. Getting him on meds to help him has been a challenge. This place was Great even with my son having outbusts due to him not being able to handle whats happening in his mind. Staff is amazing from bottom to top. Any issues I had were handle effectively. I appreciate what this place did for my kid. He came home feeling so much better. We still have a life time to go but was put on the right track of where we want to be in life.

Had such an amazing experience with Fort for my 16 year old son. The staff at Fort are ANGELS and truly care about kids. I hope that closing the adolescent program is very short lived and is reopened very soon. There is a such a huge need for this type of facility for this very challenging and at-risk age group. We can’t afford to have closures in an area of care that is so important and lifesaving. Please reconsider and keep your adolescent program open and tweak & expand – don’t give up!

My daughter first came to Ft. Behavioral in January and the program helped her in so many ways. She returned in May. She stated she really needed the resources they provide and it helps her. She is finally back home and is putting to use the skills they taught her. Communication between us has improved. The family therapy session did really help. They have added so many things since January. Really the best option in Texas. Tammy H. And Whitney W. really did help me stay involved and updated in her care.

I brought my 16 year old daughter here and was very worried considering the treatment she received in other facilities. Fort was a god send for her, their therapy, activities and just the care from the staff in general is amazing. All of the staff truly care about these babies but I have to say Ms. Nikki is the best, she has continued to follow up with my daughter even after her release and continues supporting her throughout her journey. I wish we had more Ms.Nikki’s, my daughter loves her so much and she will be apart of my family forever. This is an amazing place but Ms. Nikki is a HUGE part of it, she loves and cares so much even after they leave care. 💕

My stay at fort behavioral was woundful. Chad the manager was the best he is great with the clients the loves to teach new ways of living. Tammy my therapist is the greatest she will go over and beyond for you, she help me with a new way of thinking, living and with my family I think she is super woman. The staff here is super great I wish I could name them all but they are loving and caring people and will help you in anyway they can. The doctors are very nice and make sure you get the right medication to make your stay comfortable. The groups are good lot of exposure to recovery and a new way of thinking. The smokes breaks are great I can’t complain. The food is ok 4 stars out of 5.

Fort Behavioral sent a team of ladies to transport me to a local hospital for detox while pregnant. The hospital was rude and had no idea what was going on. They told me to return in the morning. I was able to catch the transport team before they left the parking lot, asked them to take me back to the hotel so I didn’t have to walk, and that I was instructed to return in the morning. They did not listen to me, went Inside, then came back out and told me it’s fine just go back in, and left. I ended up having to walk home with my suitcase and extra bag being 21 weeks pregnant. They did not listen to what I asked and only seemed to care about one thing – completing a task. They did not stop and listen to me and I was put in an uncomfortable, unsafe and inconvenient situation because of it. I’m going to go ahead and try the inpatient program, but really hope they take this situation to heart and learn to stop and listen next time so this doesn’t happen again.
