Supportive Women’s Recovery Program at Meridian Health Services
Meridian Health Services’ women’s recovery program fosters companionship, community, and a sense of belonging. They cater to individual needs by offering a variety of activities, from yoga and art therapy to acupuncture and pool tables. Spiritual activities and events are also available. The tree-lined facility provides a comfortable environment with shared bedrooms, recreation spaces, and home-like lounge areas.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Meridian’s program goes beyond just managing withdrawal symptoms. Therapists in individual and group sessions address various issues critical to early recovery. Clients can choose from 12-Step programs and other optional programs to supplement their treatment plan.
Doctors collaborate with each patient to create a personalized plan that incorporates medication-assisted treatment (MAT). This program combines medication with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for a holistic approach to treating substance use disorder. A certified therapist and healthcare practitioner work together to customize MAT plans for each client.
