Women's Recovery Association - Hillside House
HealthRIGHT360 runs over 50 programs in 11 California counties, helping many people and families with **substance use problems**, mental health issues, and disorders that happen together. Since 2014, the Women’s Recovery Association (WRA) has joined forces, providing **residential addiction treatment** just for women.
Rehabilitative Support for Women
At their Hillside House facility, they offer extensive, evidence-based substance misuse treatment tailored to adult women aged 18 and above. Women undergoing recovery benefit from a combination of individual, group, and family therapies in a nurturing and secure environment. Their clinical services are adeptly integrated to cater to the intricacies and requirements of women in recovery. Educational and discussion groups delve into topics tailored to women’s experiences, including trauma and abuse, emotional regulation, relapse prevention, boosting self-esteem and self-efficacy, fostering relationships and support networks, managing co-occurring mental health disorders, and enhancing overall health and wellness. They embrace a holistic approach with proven therapeutic techniques, supplemented by medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals grappling with physical dependencies on alcohol or opioids. Their services for addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions include relapse prevention, 12-Step facilitation, and trauma-informed care.
Addressing Concurrent Disorders
In addition to substance use disorder treatment, their residential facilities also tackle co-occurring mental health issues and related addictive behaviors. Their compassionate and seasoned staff specialize in addressing conditions such as eating disorders or nicotine dependence. They offer tailored support groups specifically designed to address the unique challenges faced by young adult women aged 18-24.
The Women’s Recovery Association and HealthRIGHT360 operate as a non-profit organization, extending services to low-income clients and families with state Medicaid insurance. They hold CARF accreditation and have been specializing in serving populations such as individuals experiencing homelessness, those on parole, women with children, youth, and young adults since 1967.
