Veritas Collaborative Triangle - Durham
Veritas Collaborative provides specialty treatment for eating disorders, focusing on giving everyone access to top-notch care and the tools for lasting recovery. Veritas offers different levels of care, from around-the-clock inpatient care to outpatient services in several states. Both *in-person* and *virtual* treatments are available. Multidisciplinary teams work to equip individuals, families, and communities with the skills needed to continue recovery at home.
Recovery Starts Here
Beginning the recovery journey can be overwhelming, but Veritas Collaborative meets patients where they are, guiding them forward one step at a time. They provide in-person and virtual eating disorder treatment with personalized options for children, adolescents, and adults of all genders. Their goal remains consistent: to offer clients and their loved ones the most effective treatment possible for the greatest chance of success. Highly qualified care teams, including therapists, dietitians, and medical staff, address every aspect of this complex illness. Treatment typically includes individual and group therapy focused on CBT, DBT, nutrition counseling, and skills development. Patients engage in therapeutic meals and art and mindfulness sessions like yoga and art therapy to explore their relationship with food and body. Veritas’ academic coordinators ensure school-age patients keep up with their studies during treatment. Veritas Collaborative operates in North Carolina and Georgia.
A Full Continuum of Care
Veritas conducts a comprehensive eating disorder assessment to determine the best level of care for each patient. They offer a full continuum of care at sites in North Carolina and Georgia, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs (PHP/IOP), as well as outpatient sessions. In-person and virtual treatment options are available in most locations. Inpatient care is the highest level, often the initial step when medical stabilization is necessary. Residential care suits those medically stable but requiring 24-hour behavioral and medical supervision. Intensive programs (PHP/IOP) provide structured support with more independence than 24/7 care. Outpatient, the lowest level, offers a supportive environment for ongoing recovery.
A Positive, Therapeutic Approach
Veritas fosters a “Can Eat” Culture, believing patients can positively influence eating disorder behavior through staff-facilitated therapeutic supported meals and snacks. They endorse inclusiveness of all foods and eschew food judgment. Their in-person program creates a welcoming, inclusive environment. Veritas’ multidisciplinary staff share a passion and mission inspired by a collaborative community of care, adhering to clinical best practices at all levels. Their treatment model adapts to patients’ recovery journey and life stage, empowering patients and their support communities with skills for lasting recovery.
