Recovery Starts Here
Embarking on the journey to recovery can feel overwhelming, but Veritas Collaborative meets patients where they are and assists them in taking one step at a time. Providing personalized in-person and virtual eating disorder treatments tailored to children, adolescents, and adults of all genders, their objective remains steadfast: to provide clients and their loved ones with the most effective treatment methods, maximizing the likelihood of success. At Veritas, highly qualified care teams comprising therapists, dietitians, and medical professionals address every facet of this intricate illness. Treatment typically integrates individual and group therapy focused on CBT, DBT, nutritional counseling, and skills development. Patients explore their relationship with food and their bodies through therapeutic meals and integrative sessions such as yoga and art therapy. Veritas’ academic coordinators ensure that school-age patients keep up with their studies while undergoing treatment. With locations in North Carolina and Georgia, Veritas Collaborative is accessible to many.
A Full Continuum of Care
Veritas conducts a comprehensive eating disorder assessment to determine the optimal level of care for each patient. They offer a complete spectrum of care at their sites in North Carolina and Georgia, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs (PHP/IOP), along with outpatient sessions. Most locations provide both in-person and virtual treatment alternatives. Inpatient care represents their highest tier, often serving as the initial phase of an individual’s recovery journey when medical stabilization is necessary. Residential care caters to individuals who are medically stable but require 24-hour behavioral and medical supervision. Intensive programs (PHP/IOP) offer heightened structure and support compared to non-intensive outpatient treatment, albeit with more autonomy than 24/7 care. Outpatient treatment, their lowest tier of care, furnishes a supportive environment to ensure ongoing recovery.
A Positive, Therapeutic Approach
Veritas fosters a “Can Eat” Culture, maintaining that patients can positively influence eating disorder behavior by engaging in staff-facilitated therapeutic supported meals and snacks. They advocate for the inclusivity of all foods and reject food judgment. Their in-person program cultivates a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Veritas’ multidisciplinary staff share a passion and mission inspired by a collaborative community of care. Adhering to clinical best practices across all levels of care, they consistently “treat to outcomes,” meaning their therapies and delivery methods have demonstrated efficacy in enhancing the likelihood of a positive outcome. Their treatment model is tailored to meet patients wherever they are in their recovery journey, at any stage of life, and to assist patients and their support community in developing the skills necessary for lasting recovery.
