Veritas Collaborative Atlanta
Veritas Collaborative helps people tackle eating disorders with top-notch care and resources, so everyone can recover for good. **Veritas** gives a wide range of care, from 24/7 inpatient support to outpatient services across many states. They offer both in-person and virtual treatment, with teams working hard to teach individuals, families, and communities the skills needed to keep up recovery at home.
Recovery Starts Here
Embarking on the journey to recovery can seem daunting, but Veritas Collaborative meets patients where they are and assists them in progressing one step at a time. They offer in-person and virtual eating disorder treatments customized for children, adolescents, and adults of all genders. Their objective remains consistent: to provide clients and their loved ones with the most effective treatment possible, maximizing the chances of success. At Veritas, highly qualified care teams, comprising therapists, dietitians, and medical professionals, address every aspect of this intricate illness. Treatment typically integrates individual and group therapy focused on CBT, DBT, nutritional counseling, and skills development. Patients explore their relationship with food and their bodies through therapeutic meals and art and mindfulness sessions such as yoga and art therapy. Veritas’ academic coordinators ensure that school-age patients keep up with their studies while undergoing treatment. Veritas Collaborative has locations in North Carolina and Georgia.
A Full Continuum of Care
Veritas’ comprehensive eating disorder assessment helps them determine the optimal level of care for each patient. Veritas Collaborative offers a full continuum of care at their sites in North Carolina and Georgia, encompassing inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs (PHP/IOP), along with outpatient sessions. Most locations provide both in-person and virtual treatment options. Inpatient care represents their highest level of care and often serves as the initial phase of an individual’s recovery journey when medical stabilization is necessary. Residential care caters to individuals who are medically stable but require 24-hour behavioral and medical supervision. Intensive programs (PHP/IOP) offer heightened structure and support compared to non-intensive outpatient treatment, yet provide more autonomy than 24/7 care. Outpatient treatment, their lowest level of care, furnishes a supportive environment to ensure ongoing recovery.
A Positive, Therapeutic Approach
Veritas fosters a “Can Eat” Culture, believing that patients can positively influence eating disorder behavior by engaging in staff-facilitated therapeutic supported meals and snacks. They advocate for the inclusivity of all foods and reject food judgment. Their in-person program cultivates a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Veritas’ multidisciplinary staff share a passion and mission inspired by a collaborative community of care. They adhere to clinical best practices across all levels of care. Their treatment model is designed to meet patients wherever they are in their recovery journey, at any stage of life, and to assist patients and their communities of support in developing the skills necessary for lasting recovery.
Veritas Collaborative’s admissions team is available to assist clients and loved ones in getting started Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET, Fridays 8:00 AM–7:30 PM ET, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
