Odyssey House - Adult Residential
Since 1971, Odyssey House of Utah has been a non-profit substance abuse program offering specialized care for individuals and families dealing with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. Across multiple locations, they provide tailored treatment for various demographics, including adults, single parents with children, and youth.
Adult Residential Program
Odyssey House operates four residential facilities in the Salt Lake City area, catering to adult men and women aged 18 and older. Clients undergo comprehensive assessments leading to individually tailored treatment plans.
The treatment team, comprising certified addiction specialists, counselors, and mental health professionals, addresses substance misuse alongside co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.
Whole-Person Approach
The adult residential programs focus on accountability and recovery foundation through evidence-based treatment models, fostering life skills development, physical health maintenance, and relationship building. Clients engage in structured programs and recreational activities to promote connection and fun in recovery.
Furthermore, educational services are integrated into treatment, offering clients the opportunity to obtain their GED or receive vocational services through partnerships with the Salt Lake City school system.
