Founded in 1995 by a local advocate, Long Island Center for Recovery (LICR) in Hampton Bays, New York, specializes in treating substance abuse, co-occurring mental health disorders, and process addictions. LICR carries on its founder’s vision of compassionate, professional, and affordable care.
This co-ed facility offers various programs, including detox, specialized inpatient rehab, and unique groups for first responders, veterans, LGBTQ+, union workers, and women. Clients receive personalized treatment plans with individual and group therapy. LICR combines traditional methods like CBT and 12-Step support with holistic options like yoga, meditation, and equine therapy.
The 50-bed residence features separate wings for men and women. The comfortable, home-like setting includes double bedrooms with shared bathrooms, spacious living areas with TVs, and peaceful outdoor areas with gardens and a fish pond. In-house chefs prepare delicious meals for residents.
