Futures Recovery Healthcare

Futures was my first rehab, but not my last. Futures had everything I could want or need to get sober. Amazing staff, great food, activities, and really truly meaty individual and group therapy. The problem was me and it took a few more stints in other rehabs to find that out.
What I will offer is that Futures is hands down the best rehab I went to and know of. The personalized structure of the day, the individualized care, the genuine love and attention to recovery make this place a solid 5 stars. The amenities are a bonus! What I love most about Futures is that 6 years later & a few rehabs later, the alumni staff still reaches out, and even though my sobriety didn’t start at futures, I have 3 years clean & sober now, they still celebrate my sobriety with me today through text and facebook. THAT matters and THAT makes a difference. I’m proud to be a Futures alum!

Futures has really taught me how my addiction and mental health is not what makes me who I am and now I’m making big strides because of the lovely staff that has helped guide me. I’m currently at Futures and I am on day thirteen. After ten days (blackout period) you’re allowed to have your cell phone for 2 hours per day. In addition to that, I have a private bedroom and a private bathroom. It’s similar to a two bedroom apartment (2 bed rooms, 2 bathrooms, living room/common area, washer/dryer in each unit). I have individualized therapy twice a week. Everyday there are six group meetings. There’s a pool, volleyball court, tennis court, basketball court, jacuzzi, acupuncture, full gym, meditation room, arts and crafts building, etc. I’ve been to two other rehabs and this place is definitely the nicest. There are house keeping services that attend to your room and bathroom once a day. Vapes and cigarettes are permitted. The groups are very helpful and the staff genuinely cares about your recovery. The food is pretty good, especially the steak. The first few days you have to stay in the detox unit, once you’re done with detox things get better and better. Everyone is very friendly and the staff are professional, reasonable, and respectful. The staff are professional, reasonable and friendly. It’s nice to be somewhere that’s not a dump with great amenities.

In the very early morning hours on August 6, 2021, I went through the doors of Futures on my road to recovery from alcohol addiction. Due to many extenuating circumstances, I didn’t know a thing about Futures–I honestly had no idea where I was or what in the world to expect. The next 29 days awakened me to the most wonderful person that I can truly be. These pictures are real. The people are real–compassionate and caring–and fun! My accommodations were excellent and the food was good. I actually gained weight while I was there. The programs were right on target and instrumental in helping me acknowledge that I have an addition as well as providing the tools to manage it. I made dear friends there and those friendships will remain with me throughout my life. If there were ten ⭐Futures will get them from me. I hope you choose Futures to confront the issues challenging you right now. Check it out. It’s just a great place. I still miss it.🎂

I have been an addict saving addicts for approximately 14 years. I would go to work and do my job as a first responder and save many. Sometimes many would die. I would then go home and self-destruct myself with alcohol and pills. As in addiction, isolation became a part of my life. My relationships, friendships, and everything else started to fall apart at the seams. Life was unmanageable! It took my wife to make a call to me from Futures telling me that if I did not go a rehab locally or at Futures, our marriage was over. She was there for her alcoholism. I was literally speechless. It took that rock bottom feeling to realize I need a rest and to surrender to my God of understanding. I did just that! I was on a plane shortly thereafter and arrived beat and battered and sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was welcomed with open arms and was shown love, care, and sweet compassion by all staff. I learned who I was again and found that there is a wonderful life to live without substances. A smile was brought back to my face and the old Tommy was back. I’m now back home in a great marriage, peace and serenity, and a will to do service work for others on a daily basis. I’m not priority number one anymore. God, others, and then me. Everyday has been a miracle! I pray everyday to my higher power that his will be done through me and that is a GREAT feeling. If you are in a downward spiral, make the best decision in your life and get to Futures. If you are considering going to Futures, PLEASE do it. This place 100% saved my life and it was truly a life changing experience. Thanks to Michael the psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am finally on the right medications and I never knew I could feel this good. The group facilitators are amazing. The community at Futures is so warm and welcoming and I have met people that are becoming lifelong friends. Also, Roni and Alex, if you see this, y’all are the best ❤️ Thank you for everything Futures, going there was the absolute best decision I’ve ever made.

This place is phenomenal. Your own room and bathroom is extremely nice. The food is exquisite. When you are not in groups there are a bunch of things to keep you occupied. Pool, hot tub, trivia, karaoke, etc,.. You might want to stay away from Tabitha. Bad news. The whole Nursing staff is caring and compassionate. Especially Suzanne. And,… the head of the crew that makes everything go smoothly, Alicia,… Thank you. This place is life changing. This experience makes me want to go out and use again just to cheat death and come to Futures.

Futures mental health program helped me so much for my PTSD, anxiety and depression and insomnia…I am a military member and their HEROES program is amazing! And they accept Tricare. All staff and nurses are caring and kind. Food is really good and nice amenities.I was having a really hard time with medications and they offered the genetic testing for medications and once we switched to the medications that were listed as my good ones and that metabolized well…
I started getting better. Sheryl my therapist was amazing.

Futures should be the standard across the nation for recovery and mental health. The staff and therapists are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. The empathy they have shown to everyone who walks through the door is outstanding.

The process groups and individual therapy have helped me through the hardest time in my life.

It was my first time going to recovery and the intake was smooth. The staff and patients instantly made me feel welcome. If you are struggling with making a decision this place is right for you. It’s a resort lifestyle living and is very well kept and clean.

Trying to think of enough to say that could convey how amazing Futures is but I just can’t… The staff, the facility, the warmth, the programing, the knowledge, the caring, the respect, the understanding, the professionalism, the alumni support… I would give them all 10 stars if I could. Thank you for creating such an incredible organization that I see continuing to grow and adapt to today’s needs. Run to Futures if you can, it’s life altering – I’m blessed to be a proud alumni.
