This place saves lives everyday and is THE BEST in the entire country at doing what they do. Everything is over 5 stars here! The entire staff goes above and beyond for their clients and I can’t imagine a better place for recovery.
I just finished my 30 days at Ava and my only complaint is that I’m already missing everybody there! They are all wonderful and finally, after 30 plus years of drug use, they gave me the strength and the tools to quit and I know in my heart that it’s for good this time!! I’ve been to 13 different treatment centers over The course about 15 years. I’ve tried everything to get sober. I tried religion, psychiatry, methadone clinics, you name it… After being at Ava Recovery for 30 days, I learned more than the entire 15 years combined. I can’t say enough positive things about Ava Recovery Center. Ava is a luxury treatment center that helps provide addicts and alcoholics the tools they need to navigate a life of Recovery. My family member recently completed a 30 day stay and they miss it already. From equine therapy to the warmest and most welcoming staff members, I would suggest looking no further than this facility for you or your loved one’s healing journey.
Amazing facility, a couple really incredible therapists & counselors BUT their policies definitely cater to those who have money over those who don’t unfortunately. I was also assaulted by a male staff member who worked night shift.
I know sometimes employees hands are tied due to “policies” & fine print I guess but I definitely feel that I wasn’t treated fairly than once I left I was sent home with zero medication due to an oversight/”miscommunication”. My first day home I spent 26hrs without Subutex & had to scramble to find it on my own. Something I don’t understand how professionals, who do this every day, could allow to happen.
I have never felt so let down or betrayed or just flat out forgotten in my whole life.

I was Ava’s first client back in 2022. The experience was nothing short of incredible. From the minute I walked in, I felt at home and never felt institutionalized. I learned to love myself and put my needs before others. I always assumed I would grow out of my addiction but when I was almost 40, and things were only getting worse, I decided to check into treatment. Life changed for me there. I honestly feel like I would be dead by now if I hadn’t gone. Almost everything I learned resonated with me and I use most tools to this day. I was never a morning person but now mornings are my favorite part of the day. I wake up grateful and so fortunate to be able to raise my child as a sober person. I owe Ava and their staff everything. They treated me with love and compassion from day one & I am forever grateful to Casey for opening such a magical place. Ava is family now and that house is my happy place. The worst part about Ava was leaving. It was truly one of the best experiences of my life. If you or a loved one needs help, call them, it will change their life.
If I could give them a 6 out of 5 star review, I most certainly would. The staff was wonderful and made sure that every client was welcomed and genuinely cared for. Between the 1 on 1’s with counselors, the meditations and the absolutely amazing chef.. I really couldn’t ask for more from a treatment center. In my book, Ava recovery gets a perfect review, hands down. They also did a great job of making sure you didn’t feel institutionalized when you leave, where as in my past experiences, other treatment centers are the opposite. I’m going to miss everyone there and I really cannot thank them enough!
As a someone who had a family member receive treatment at Ava, I just want to send you a heartfelt message of gratitude. I know Ava is a beautiful place, physically- from the grounds to the swimming pool to the horses and the house itself; but more importantly, because of the staff and their approach to treatment. They don’t just address the addiction itself, but dig deeper to address the underlying traumas and root causes that led to the addiction in the first place. And they use a non-judgmental approach, treating the clients with kindness and compassion. Now my family member has tools to help him navigate the rough seas of life.
