They address co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD, attention disorders, and disordered eating. Clients can safely detox from substances through their on-site detox program. Clinicians conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand substance use history, co-occurring disorders, existing medical conditions, and withdrawal risk.
Clinically-Based Detox and Residential Care
At Paramount Wellness Retreat, clients struggling with alcohol, heroin, cocaine, opioids, meth, benzodiazepines, and prescription drug addictions can detox comfortably. They offer medication-assisted treatment when needed. Medical staff provide 24/7 support and customize treatments to meet recovery goals. The transition to the residential program is seamless, where clients engage in evidence-based, trauma-informed therapies individually, in groups, and with families. These therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Clients also participate in psychoeducation and anger management classes. Paramount Wellness Retreat is a 12-Step-informed program.

Paramount Wellness Retreat offers a holistic healing experience through various methods such as yoga, Reiki, sound healing, meditation, massage therapy, and ayurveda. They provide biofeedback to enhance clients’ mind-body connection through coping skills and stress-relief techniques. The care team collaborates across departments to ensure all treatment modalities complement each other. Experiential therapies include art therapy, music therapy, equine therapy, psychodrama, and adventure therapy with hiking and ropes courses.
