Nestled in the Rio Grande Valley of southern Texas, Palms Behavioral Health (Palms BH) provides comprehensive care for adolescents, adults, and seniors facing acute behavioral and mental health challenges.

Intensive Inpatient Program

Palms BH’s inpatient psychiatric program caters to adolescents (ages 12–17), adults, and seniors dealing with various behavioral and mental health issues, offering short-term hospitalization for crises or longer-term structured treatment. The focus is on assessment, diagnosis, and swift stabilization, with referrals to follow-up care as needed. The ultimate aim is to aid clients in improving their clinical status and reintegrating into daily life.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Palms BH’s PHP serves adolescents (ages 12–17) and adults who don’t require round-the-clock supervision, acting as either a step down from inpatient care or a preventative measure against hospitalization. PHP sessions run five days a week for several hours each day.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

IOP is tailored for adults managing work and daily responsibilities but in need of supportive treatment. Sessions are held multiple times a week, each lasting a few hours, to provide the necessary assistance while allowing clients to maintain their routines.
