Clients in the 30-day residential program at Windmill Wellness Ranch receive comprehensive care, including psycho-education groups, individual therapy, immersion in 12-step or SMART recovery programs, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), life skills training, art therapy, and relapse prevention planning. Throughout residential treatment, clients acquire skills for recovery, interpersonal relations, and managing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and mood disorders. They engage in 30 hours of programming per week covering various topics like communication skills, anger management, grief/loss, codependency, movement, yoga, and recovery skills.
Windmill Wellness Ranch also offers a specialized treatment track for first responders, catering to law enforcement, first responders, veterans, as well as their spouses and children. Upon completion of residential care, each client receives a personalized aftercare plan comprising continued psychiatry, therapy, and other resources necessary for sustained recovery.
Nestled on a picturesque 75-acre ranch in Canyon Lake, Texas, Windmill Wellness provides gender-specific housing for both men and women. The property boasts amenities including basketball and volleyball courts, an outdoor pool, and extensive nature trails for hiking.
