2nd time in treatment and I felt like this time around I learned a lot more than I did previously at Lakeside Milam. The facility was quite a bit smaller but that’s not a bad thing. More individualized time to focus on my recovery with counselors and case managers. The groups were great and always helpful in one way or another. The food and snacks were great too. Get your own room with your own tv too. I came in down and out grieving my dad but leaving tomorrow feeling so much better than I imagined. Thank you all for your help in my recovery. You all were so kind, compassionate and caring. Truly appreciated!
If you are struggling with any sort of addiction, make the call and get in there! The best self-care I’ve done for myself in years, and the entire staff provided even more care on top of that.

I have been to a few rehab facilities in my struggles, but I had an exceptional experience at Royal. The dedicated staff, delicious food, engaging group sessions, and uplifting atmosphere all contributed to my journey towards recovery. Grateful for their support and commitment to making a positive impact. I am still going strong over 3 years later, living in an Oxford house with 7 guys that I call family now, and we all were at Royal together. Highly recommend!
If you are in need of help due to addiction, Royal is a great place to rehabilitate. It is a low key place and not many clients. Many of the employees are addicts so you can relate to them while in recovery. Classes have small groups which allow everyone to feel comfortable. Please don’t hesitate if you are in need of help.
I cherish my time here in treatment, the facility is incredibly nice, and the staff are no different. Everyone (staff, facilitators) are in recovery themselves. You can really tell that they’ve been in your shoes at one point themselves- and how much each individual really care for their guests. It was jarring to let go of a lot of personal control- but if you want to get better and clean in your sobriety Royal will take care of you.
My experience here at Royal has been truly amazing. The staff is amazing and show care in all ways, from food, groups, variety of recovery plan options relating to higher power as well as recovery meeting options is very key and important for me and I believe likely also many other guests that walk through your doors. I am very hopeful and ready for the next step in my recovery.. so much love and appreciation for you all. Will miss everyone, yet no worries I’ll be calling to say hello and share how I’m doing.
The staff and medical team made my stay a very welcoming and comfortable. Detoxing isn’t easy but the staff here did their best job to make the experience as easy as possible. I’d recommend anyone going through an alcohol or opioids come here since the staff are so accepting and willing to accommodate.
Royal is the most thorough treatment center I have attended. From admission to discharge the process was clearly explained and transitions through care were seamless. My medical needs were taken care of. Clinical staff was professional both SUD and MH. The facility and nutritional support was excellent and the program has a variety of modalities to educate and help me address my addiction. Of special mention are the behavioral techs. Their caring and compassion shines through and I was treated like a guest the entire time. I left with hope. I highly recommend Royal to anyone interested in addressing their drug/alcohol problem.
I had a great experience here. The food was awesome, the staff super helpful and nice. Every room has a TV with ROKU. Counselors were awesome. I came in not knowing what to expect and now I’m walking out with a clear head. Also all the fun outings was just a bonus. Show up with your clothes and they do your laundry and fold it and change your bedding as much as you want. 5 stars to the staff here 🤙🏽
